Finished at last!
I was so excited to be done that I went a bit photo crazy.
You can't tell from those other pictures, so here's what I wound up doing with those feathers. Thanks again to those of you who gave me input!

This one doesn't actually show the details as much as I wish it did...
Sometime soon I'm going to attempt something like making a vinyl mold of it to make plaster replications. When I do, though, I'm under the impression that there's a good chance that both the mold and the original may be destroyed, so I'd be left with nothing.* So I wanted to take pictures and show you all now, just to prove that it was finished at some time. Even if it does get distroyed, I feel glad that I was able to work on it to completion. I can't remember the last time I worked so hard on a piece of artwork, or the last time I felt so satisfied with the results. :D And personally, I don't think it's that bad for a Sculpture I student.
