Yesterday at the Toyota dealership, while giving me the run-down on what he found, the technician was quite taken aback at the following exchange.
Him: "...removed the filters and was able to see the throttle box. Now, the throttle box controls..."
Me: "I know what the throttle box is, dear. Do we need to do an air injection cleaning to blow out the carbon buildup?"
Him: ::blink:: "Yeah, I'd recommend that."
Me: "Well, it's been forty thousand miles, so I think it's probably nearly due, so yes, let's."
He ended up grinning at me while we were doing the check-out, and shook my hand, saying it was a pleasure. I think I may have made his day.
