Academic-induced Hypochondria

The day I'm preparing statistics on bubonic, pneumonic and septicemic plague is emphatically not the good day to listen to other people coughing violently in other parts of the building. Before you know it, I'll be wearing latex gloves and a shower cap, my feet in tissue boxes, spraying everything in sight with Lysol and muttering about filthy apes.

Pass the streptomycin, just in case?
