Thank you,
ardonis.
Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 weird habits of yours" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 5 quirky habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.
1. Ok, sorry to be copying you,
ardonis, but I also try to walk the same number of steps in each block of pavement. I dislike stepping on the cracks, and if there are blocks of tile around a square foot in size, I will walk on those like a knight in a chess game. I also subconsciously count things, especially the number of steps taken, or make up rythmic counting patterns while I walk. This stems from a suggestion made to me by a summer camp counselor when I was too nervous to go to class. So now I do it all the time. Or maybe I'm nervous all the time, who knows.
2. I hate bending the spines of books. If the book is huge, I'll forgive myself a little, but otherwise I read at very acute angles.
3. I can no longer fall asleep on my back or mostly on my side. I have to be on my stomach, or with legs curled up, which makes it impossible to sleep on planes.
4. I prefer not to wear shoes, especially when driving. Another driving thing: I hate to sit in lines, so if I know it will take more than one light to get me through the next intersection, I will turn and make a u-ey or try to find some other way around, just to keep moving. I will not, however, go through parking lots unless traffic is just horrendous.
5. I take at least one book with me most places I go. You may not see it, but it's there.
