ZEIG WHAT ?
Okay, so after being nudged (Hi Naa !) I decided to make a comprehensive post as to what exactly is going on in the life of Moi ?
To begin with, Model United Nations.
On March 26-29, 2007, I represented Japan in the Second General Assembly (GA2), the Economic and Finance committee (ECOFIN).
Therein, I spent four days on the topics of "Preserving the Global Climate for Future Generations" and "Combating the Financing of International Terrorism". (Yes, thrilling).
However, I did very well. Our team, overall, finished fourth (not too bad). However, this year, they threw a curve ball at us all.
They did two individual awards in each committee, a total of 18 available. The equivalent of one of these awards would be the "all star team"- 18 1st place awards.
I managed to sneak away with one.
HOLY SHIZ, I was freakin' excited. I cried like a little bitch, got my plaque.. shook hottie's Pat's hand, and sat down.
Overall, a good trip.
To continue with- University of Central Florida
I am making it officially official- I am moving from Jacksonville July the 25th to move in down in Orlando. I am attending the University of Central Florida, and I am happily residing with two awesome people, Justin and Char. The trip on Saturday was stressful (spending an entire day with my mother can be such), however she liked what she saw (or what I/they/we chose to show her).
Overall, a good week.
Finally- ANIME
So, I had entered the FUNimation "TURNING OVER A NEW LEAF" contest.
I won.
And I got.. like..
...$1000 dollars of anime material in the mail.
:)
