Is it just the weather that induces procrastination?

True enough, it is labeled as the year of the Hot Dog or the Fire Canine... however, the start of the year has a chilling premiere.

The recent days have sported a frigid air that seems to dampen spirits and brought the common cases of coughs, colds and runny noses to people whom I've come by.

Geographically speaking, I know January would have always been one of the cooler months for our country, but the weather doesn't only seem to dampen the vitality of people, it also seems to dampen people's spirits, this early.

I came accross this song and I digested the lyrics and it feels that it has been a product of the eerie chilly weather we have now.

I wouldn't call it time well spent
Repeating to myself again
Find comfort in an endless stream of moments
I don't even care, about the way I feel today
Because it changes anyway
Something will make me cry or smile
Another picture on my pile

Now I'm standing close to you
It's just something that I do
When I need love to be enough
I wish love could be enough
'cause there is nothing more appealing
Than the thought that I could be enough

Do you find solace in the sun?
Do you consider life as one?
Do you believe there is a limit
To how fast a man can run?
Someone said you're born alive
Well I don't feel that alive

the lyrics came from a song by DJ Tiesto, entitled "Close To You" and it somehow supplemented the frost bite mood-- probably needed for one to break down and recollect some things.

There...

hmm

oops got a phone call to answer...

hope the year's beginning aint too cold for all
