I think this is a cute sequence of pictures. From left to right we have the Watcher, Perry Holley and Dawn.
Max Lager's is a very pretty restaurant with excellent food....and the service we received was horrible.
They forgot to bring the Watcher's meal (he ordered a dinner salad). When he got to the bottom of his soda, he found that underneath the ice there was a small container (those little cylindrical to go containers you use for dipping sauces). He was understandably annoyed.
There were CBR people that arrived late, and were ignored by the servers. Also, they forgot to bring Dawn's beer.
It was relatively easy to rectify this by flagging down servers, which we did. I think we all had fun. But I was underwhelmed by the service, and I doubt we'll be returning there.
Quarterwolf, Ronald, Loren, Charles and myself went to the Mandarin House on Friday for lunch, though, and that was a fantastic buffet.
Don Rosa isn't a member of CBR, but my friend Stony (a CBR mod) is a HUGE fan of his. So I thought I'd post it with this selection o' photos.
Dawn Holley called me up Sunday to hang out and show off the other Spider t-shirt she made.
"Is this +1 versus photographers?"
