I managed to capture two of the stages of grief. Great Simon Tam costume.
Hands of Blue.
Inara and Mal. I was right behind this Mal in line for the Shindig. Nice guy.
Badger. The man I wanted to see in a sequel.....so I could watch River wrap him around her little finger.
The Shindig started out slowly. I was in line for maybe 45 minutes at a guess. When I reached the front of the line, I could see inside that there was no music at all. People started ditching the line as soon as they saw it. Anyway, soon after I got inside the live band arrived. It was a very different party from the 2005 Shindig (which was a huge rave). The Southeastern Browncoats put the part together on four days notice, and they did a great job.
A group of congoers Saturday night fell in love with this Captain Jack Sparrow. He was in character, so they asked him to talk to a friend on their phone. So he talked to this girl on the cell phone in character. Much fun was had by all.
A nice River Tam costume.
