She came up to Rmond to scout out her apartment and make sure it is still alright, so we went out for ice cream between my conference and the party I was invited to. Apparently my extroversion was tripped, because in the store I talked to the woman buying in front of us, and got her opinion on all the ice creams, and chatted up the two ice cream workers as well. We decided to experiment, and so we made a couple different ice cream mixes, which I then shared with all five of us to help figure out which was the best. I ended up getting a quarter cake batter/quarter french vanilla and half cookies and cream milkshake. It was easily the best milkshake I've ever had. She ended up getting boston creme.
She kept putting her arm on me/leaning on me conveniently, which was adorable.
We then dorkily went to JBC (James Branch Cabell) where we checked out a few books. She had to get home by 6, so we did the goodbye thing and I went to my bosses' party (which, btw, was fantastic). I love working for VA21.
