About three weeks ago I was shopping with my dad, and I decided I wanted to get a package of Morningstar Farm's fake bacon, because i'd never had it before. I put it in the cart and my dad said somthing about how bacon sounded really good to him, so he in turn bought a package of real bacon. I thought it was kind of weird because my parents never really bought bacon asside from on special occasions like Father's Day or for Christmas morning.
In the following three weeks, my parents have bought a package of bacon, and most recently two packages, every time they go shopping. It's kind of unsettling because it's not like they're buying less of any other meats. So It's kind of my fault that a number of animals (cute little piggies!!) that wouldn't have been eaten before are being eaten by my parents.
On the flip side, fake bacon BLTs on toasted whole wheat with a dash of nutritional yeast is probably the best non-indian food i've ever eaten. I would settle for eating once a day, so long as that meal was a fake bacon BLT.
Also, my house smells like bacon a lot (a LOT) more than i'd like it to.
