My dad had two laptops for working at home from his work, and he built one decent one out of them, and one crappy one, and they didn't ask for them back after he got layed off. So i kinda scored a laptop, probably permanently. Sitting in bed browsing the internet on my laptop while watching adult swim makes me feel really lazy. Somthing about it is really fun and comforting though. Nice and warm or whatever. He also had one of those really teeny lazer mouses that fits perfectly on the non-keyboard part of the laptop, so I don't get pissed off at the little mouse pad on the laptop. I can't quite describe how awesome and fun this laptop is. the laptop eminates a lot of heat, and warms up the blanket i have it propped up on!
I get a lot of pleasure from having a clean slate computer and setting it all up how I like, and putting just the basics like AIM and Firefox and crap like that on it. somehow having a quarter of my usual ram (this laptop is only 256mb) doesn't seem that slow.
I'm pretty sure i'm going to try to get a job at that pet-shop that Patton and Neil work at. Patton said I should apply and that there's a good chance i'd get hired. That'd probably be a sweet job, despite having to clean up lots of animal shit.
I've got quite a bit of schoolwork to do.
