First post in a long time

So I figured it was time for a post. It has been a very long time since I have posted for real and I figured for the two or three people that read this I would update.
Since I have left Jacksonville I have felt so much better, there are things about that place that scared me for life, honestly no joke, I truly will never be the same person I was and it is all because of that evil place. Besides that though Leaving has made life better, I am home. I have been hanging out with my parents and my friends along with working five days a week. I want to hang out with my friends more but it is hard to get together all the time. I started playing volley ball once a week and realized I love it, I may do intramural volley ball next semester.
I have been experiencing some doubt as to my future, this is weird considering since sixth grade I have known what I wanted to do. It's just that since my first semester at UNF I haven't felt the same about music. It is becoming more than a chore to practice my euphonium. On the flip side, politics just comes so easy to me and I love to talk about it. Now even if i switch my major to something with politics what should I do? Should I become a lawyer and work my way to politician and run for some sort of office, congress or senate, should i try to be president one day? would I be able to count on the votes of all three of you that read this? Or should I just study political science and teach politics? Another option along the political root is double major in political science and journalism and become a political pundit much like the late Tim Russert. What should I do, I don't expect someone to give me the final answer but opinions are very welcomed.
I feel I have lost touch with a few of my friends, it kinda sucks and I'm not really sure why it happened and one day I would like to just hang with some of them and rekindle the friendship. If you are reading this and feel you are one of those people please let me know.
I have wanted to see Across the Universe since I first heard they were making it and last Sunday I finally did. It lived up and surpassed my expectations. I don't know how the makers did it but they found an awesome cast with awesome singers and if the person who played JoJo was really playing the guitar then he should get a record contract now. Other then that the movie was still awesome, the writers found a way to change the music of The Beatles, the God's of Rock and Roll, John Lennon and George Harrison, and still have it be amazing without diminishing the quality of it. How did they do that? Eddie Izzard was amazing even though his role was small. The movie was filled with references to Beatles songs, obscure and popular. The cool thing was even if you didn't get the obscure references the movie worked great.
I have also come to the conclusion that they should create a twenty four hour Scrubs channel. The show is just so damn awesome.
I feel that was a good rant for the day, I will resume posting on a regular basis.

Things that I am looking forward to
1. the Coheed and Cambria concert
2. hanging out with old friends
3.going to UCF next semester
4. Cecily possibly coming down here
5. the 1:30am episode of Scrubs
