I've been feeling a bit out of sorts today...but it could just be the weird sleeping habits I've adopted. For example, slept in until 745 this morning (class starts at 8). Came home, and fell asleep around 7 pm only to wake up around 9 pm. I did this last night too...but last night when I woke up and read 9:12 (yes I remember the exact time) on the clock I just about vomited.
No, I don't randomly develop a case of bulimia at the stroke of 9...to my sleep addled brain it was 9 AM and I was an hour late for school, and thus would have missed a mandatory pre-lab and part of a test. I didn't actually realize this until I had rushed into the washroom (again not actually vomiting) in a mad fit of "OMGGOTTAGETREADYREALLYFASTHOLYCRAPI'MLATE!" at which point I stopped...looked around and realized "it's still dark out." Not that I could see this from my bathroom mind you...perhaps I'm lying...more accurately I believe my thought process was "It's...PM....not....AM. Oh thank Jeezbus."
Either way, you think that I would have learned from that lesson. You would think that. That'sbecause you don't know me. So when I woke up at 630 this morning I of course hit the snooze button and went back to sleep...not because I figured it was evening but because I had lots of time. One hour and 15 minutes later...."OMGGOTTAGETREADYREALLYFASTHOLYCRAPI'MLATE!" I thankfully made it to class relatively on time...but I think that's part of why I'm feeling so odd tonight. Not sleeping properly + stress = me going a little crazy. It's ok though...I've got Miss Spektor on loop and she's a sure cure to what ails ya.
In other news, apparently Ridgetown has certifiable crazy people who vomit (can anyone else see a pattern in this post?) and scream in the laundromats...who'da thunk!
In other slightly less random news...I'm getting old...it's stupid, but I went to check out a friends house today because I'm considering moving in with her for next summer. Well this house is huge, way out at the edge of town but beautiful and she has a llama for neighbour! A LLAMA! Either way...this huge house also has a lot of very narrow and steep stairs...and holy crap did my knees hurt. I've definetely noticed that my legs are getting stronger when riding my bike, it's not such a challenge to get up some of the hills around here now...but apparently it's taking a toll on my knees. Anyone know some good stretches to do after biking? Perhaps I'll go ride Louis the llama...I've heard it said they have magical healing properties...
