LIFE-RUINERS

So for the first time - and what will, of course, be the last time - in my undergrad career, my schedule next semester is composed ENTIRELY of history and political science. 21 credits and I'm graduating on time with both majors, even though I switched out of my secondary ed certification, officially, halfway through junior year.

That's the good news. Meanwhile, I love my completely dysfunctional faculty. Drs. Spurlock, Cary, and Rohrer, the sex addict, the alcoholic, and the hypochondriac. I love them so much that I am DEEPLY TROUBLED by their inability to coordinate schedules and NOT TEACH classes at the SAME TIME.

So I'm going to have to pray that they love me as much as I love them.

On Tuesdays and Thursday mornings, 11-12:15, HY340: The Middle East with Rohrer conflicts with PS342: American Foreign Policy with Cary.
Not sure which one I'll do for independent study. Middle East is essentially a microcosm of Foreign Policy. I'll flip on a coin.

On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 2-3:15, HY390: Special Topics in U.S. History, Modern Love with Spurlock conflicts with PS338: Politics of the Sixties with Cary.
No coin-flipping here. I haven't had a Spurlock class since last spring (and that was Latin America, and it was full of non-majors, and it sucked) and I miss Spurlock like whoa.

The rest of this beautiful courseload:
Monday/Wednesday, 3-4:15, PS400: Public Policy Seminar with Cary
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 12-12:50, HY311: Russian and Soviet History with Rohrer
Thursday, 6-8:30, PS390: Special Topics in Political Science, Pennsylvania State Government with Cary
(Yay Pennsylvania. Post-graduation = me + Stacey + apartment + Pittsburgh?)

The end. Bed now. Life later.
