Just for a moment, let me exalt in how nice it is to NOT have to pay to do my laundry.

H'okay. Killing time while it finishes up.

Opening Credits: "Last Kiss"   Pearl Jam
This is not off to a terribly optimistic start. Pretty, yes, but not optimistic.

Waking Up: "Last Call Casualty"   Bowling for Soup

Falling in Love: "Lying is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off"   Panic! At the Disco
This is amazing. My computer thinks I'm a slut.

Fight scene: "The Middle"   Jimmy Eat World
Hey, you know they're all the same, you know you're doing better on your own.
I think I need to listen to this song a lot more.

Breaking up: "We Are"   Ana Johnson
What about the world today?
What about the place that we call home?
We’ve never been so many
And we've never been so alone....

Getting back together: "Think of Me"   Phantom of the Opera
Oooooooh pretty.
Think of all the things
We've shared and seen -
Don't think about the things
Which might have been . . .
Think of me,
Think of me waking,
Silent and resigned.
Imagine me,
Trying too hard
To put you from my mind....
But still not a terribly optimistic outlook on my love life.

Secret Love: "Feel Like Home"   Fort Minor
Yeah, funny thing about that....

Life's okay: "Dream On"   Aerosmith
The irony of this is killing me....  :-)

Driving Flashback: "Champagne Supernova"   Oasis
I sincerely hope that the line "Where were you while we were getting high?" was not my computer's attempt to make a snarky comment about my actual driving skills. I can't take any more sass from this machine tonight.

Partying: "Summer of '69"   Bon Jovi
Not exactly shake-your-crude-thang sort of song, but I'm not exactly a shake-your-crude-thang sort of girl.

Happy Dance: "Girl All the Bad Guys Want"   Bowling for Soup
Darn, my secret's out.

Regretting: "Take Me or Leave Me"   RENT
What's my sin?/Never quit - I follow through/ I hate mess, but I love you
That pretty much covers all my regrets from the past few months. Yup.

Long night: "Son of a Preacherman"   Dusty Springfield
This song was much more appropriate in high school, when I had crushes on two pastors' sons in a row. Joel Ready and Andrew Aldrich, I can admit it now. Jesus boys may turn out to be my fate. That's a good thing.
The only boy who could ever reach me/He was the sweet-talkin' son of a preacherman

Final Battle: "Desperado"   The Eagles
You better let somebody love you, before it's too late....

Death scene: "Closing Time"   Semisonic

End credits: "Cows With Guns"   Dr. Demento
.....

Also, various episodes of Mike Rubino's absolutely stellar comic radio serial, "Dodge Intrepid and the Pages of Time" popped up, but I chose to ignore them for the purposes of this soundtrack. I repeat that he is the hardest act in the WORLD to follow.

Also, I love J.T. White a whole lot, but I would love him a WHOLE LOT MORE if he wouldn't call me up at 1:30 in the morning to tell me about how he's sleeping naked. He's a really nice kid, you just have to look pretty hard sometimes to figure it out.
