...but I rode the fucker anyway!
Since I started riding it 6 weeks ago, and have been averaging 4.5 times a week. There is this loop in my housing development that I use that is about 0.7 miles with some hills and such, and I go around it at least two times per session (I was up to three times, but I hit a patch where I couldn't ride for four days in a row, and I lost my groove a bit). So that is about a mile and a half to two miles a day when I get out there and do it.
I'm also eating better, avoiding potatoes and any grain that is not corn. This is the easy part, generally, as most restaurants have options for me, and even though I had to get fast food once, I ate the burger without the bun.
This is the first time in a long time I finally have diet and exercise in sync, so I feel optimistic about sticking with it.
