Just last week I completed the last little bit of application materials for summer internships within the field of physics and materials science. My applications were finished, I was just waiting on my professor to finish the letters of recommendation. I applied to many places, so I should be able to get in somewhere. The list is as follows:
University of Minnesota
Purdue
Brigham Young
University of Toledo
Iowa State
University of Michigan
Michigan State
Penn State
Laser Interferometry Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO Caltech)
UC Davis
Bucknell
Hope College, Michigan
University of Rochester
Montana State
Lehigh
College of William and Mary
Yeah, like I said, I applied to a lot of internships. My top two choices I think are Minnesota and Purdue. The chance to travel to a part of the country I have never been to excites me greatly. I have never been outside of the southeast, so that is why I didn't bother applying anywhere in the southeast. Within the next few months I will hopefully be recieving a few acceptance letters. The chance to do an internship away from home and away from school will be an amazing experience. Anyway, catch you all later...
