have enough time today (manager not at work ;) ) to write about stuff ...
past 3 months have been hectic alright. most things went bad ... a few went ok - should i ask for more/better? for example ...
parents visited the US and were here for 5 weeks - good. i spent only 10 days with them - bad. should i ask for more?
review happened at work - pathetic hikes - bad. there were hikes - good. should i ask for more?
bought an ipod - good. felt really guilty for having spent so much money - bad. dont have time to load too many songs (have used up only 6G of the total 20G available!) - bad. but i have my complete pink floyd collection on the beautiful white creature - good. should i ask for more?
i know (and bhatta will concur) that its all about managing expectations. i should do one of two things (there are always two things!) - change my expectations to match reality or change reality to meet my expectations. i am expecting to do the latter!
