omg so THAT'S over with
After just about a month of looking - miserable, depressing looking - I have found another apartment and am signing a lease on Friday. The truck comes Tuesday.
Whew.
It's in a great location, relative to the places where I need to be. It's a funky building from the '70s and you can really tell. It's really square. But it's got a funky kind of retro charm and certainly feels a whole lot better than everything else I was even considering settling for. And best of all, it's Apartment #42. ::geeks liek whoa yeah::
Now I get to deal with my utilities. Fun!
What's something really fantastically cheesily '70s that I can put in my new apartment? I need a wooden tiki god or some kind of macrame plant holder.
