Watched them Back to Back again!
So here is our Rosie Rose main episode.
I think that Turn Left is one of Catherine Tates best episodes, she does the wide eyed tearful look very well. I also think we saw a bit of the new Rose here as well as the old Rose, she was bossy and obviously used to be in charge, UNIT seemed to know who she was and trust her.
I thought some of the flashback bits were a bit blamange :) In a way I thought it was a shame that Rose had not changed more - with Martha in this Season you could see how she had changed, that she had made a new life for herself, with Rose I felt that this was not the case - that she had just been spending her life since Doomsday building a way to get back to the Doctor, she hasn't moved on, she hasn't had a fantastic life, she didn't do what the Doctor seems to want to believe that she would. Which to me makes me a bit nervous of the final episode because if he does send her back to Alt!Verse then based on what we have already seen of her she will not be happy, because for her to be happy she has to be with HIM.
As to the Stolen Earth I just loved the moments where the Doctor and Rose wanted to be together, where they were thinking of each other. His running towards her was a lot more impassioned than I thought her run was, probably because he honestly thought he would never see her again where as for her she always believed this day wuold come and it is just the natural conclusion for her.
When Rose was trying to ring the Doctor I was whispering "find her" how sad am I! Do I believe in the Regeneration no I do not - Rusty would not be so naughty to send DT off with no real goodbye to Rose and also I have seen pictures of DT filming with cybermen!
