All of my geekdoms are connected! I have a reason for living! Mwahaha! *Ahem* Anyways, we're supposed to be working on our essays, but I have better things to do with my time, such as explain the way all of my fandoms are connected! SO I have to start off somewhere...how about LOTR? OK... no, that's sort of in the middle of everything... how about...Liam Neeson. OK:
Liam Neeson had a role in "Love Actually," which also starred Alan Rickman and Keira Knightley. Alan Rickman is Snape in the HP movies, which leads me to my next fandom: LOST. On a recent episode of LOST (Deau ex Machine {sp?}), Jack and Sayid had to make glasses for Sawyer. After he had on his new (nerdy) glasses, Hurley walked by and said, "Dude, looks like someone steamrolled Harry Potter." Whoo hoo! But that's only the beginning. A (hot) star of LOST is Dominic Monaghan, who played the hobbit Merry in the LOTR movies. LOTR also starred Viggo Mortensen, who starred in "Hidalgo," a movie about a hot guy and his horse I love horses and you can also find horses in LOTR which stars Dom, which connects LOTR to LOST! But this is where things get interesting. Another star of LOTR is Orlando Bloom who starred in Pirates of the Caribbean with the hot Johnny Depp and the talented Keira Knightly (who also had a role in "Love Actually"). Keira Knightly also starred in "King Arthur." That movie's 'bad guy' was played by Stellan Skarsgård. I found out more about him through an M15M (movie in fifteen minutes), and I sort of remembered the name b/c it's got a weird letter, this: å . So I was looking up info on the next two POTC movies, and found out that Orlando Bloom's character's father in the third POTC movie is going to be played by that same guy!!!! So that's where all of this started! kinda.
