did that guy's speech bug anyone as much as it bugged me???? kept going on about the soldiers...okay, i KNOW it's Memorial Day, but come on!! wut about remembering all those people who gave their time and lives who weren't/aren't in the military? what about all those people who were fighting for the betterment of our country who didn't decide to do so with guns and machines? what about all those who were peaceful? who just walked and spoke, didn't shoot up their opponents?
okay, so let me play Devil's advocate for a sec. let's talk about the soldiers...how about the ones that massacred innocent people? how about the ones who blasted and burned civil rights demonstrators? how about the ones who were drafted and didn't even want to be fighting??
i guess those are some details that the government doesn't want brought to mind on this oh-so-patriotic day.
