Moral Problem

Jan 28, 2004 20:24

Okay, maybe this won't seem like that big of a deal, but it is to me. For forensics, this one story I'm doing is about a prison camp in South Africa. And the warder (which is just like a warden) is a white guy, and he calls one of the political prisoners a kaffir. "Kaffir" is the (South) African equivalent of the "N" word here in America. So, the question is - do I change the word? Or do I say it?
Or do I *gulp* just do a dif story?
HELP!

Peace and love,
