excited eyes
Sparkling.
I see in the shallow sun just before night.
I think-
how much I wanted to love this place.
To feel resolved.
Energized I still feel so close.
Im flushed and at attention.
Sleep isnt as attractive to me anymore,
I want to be awake
I only need to understand myself
and find a place to breathe,
and toss my tongue
through waves of blue smoke;
To satisfy me
My mind is going a million miles a minute
Inspiration is dripping
Like honey from a comb.
The sweetness.
Im so excited and rigid with hope.
This year is my last before I can finally
Fly the coop
to search for peace in the
Broken shoulders
Of the west.
start MY life.
The sun leaves it's last reminders
of light
In the low lying clouds
Opposite a brightening moon.
Contentment.
Everything is turning out ok.

always would.
