Its lower level "leet" language. Pwned=Owned. It means you're the winner and they are the loser or vice versa if the roles are reversed and can be applied to any number of situations. Examples-Playing an online game like Halo or Team Fortress Classic and having someone(or group)totally annihilate an opposing team OR for when an argument or debate is lost with flair, etc
