I finally started reading 1984, something I've been meaning to do long before it was a cheesy reality series. So, I'd like to put my favourite quote so far (keep in mind, I just started):
(in describing the 4 ministries of Oceania) "...The Ministry of Peace, which concerned itself with war. The Ministry of Love, which maintained law and order....The Ministry of Love was the really frightening one. There were no windows in it at all.... It was a place impossible to enter except on official business, and then only by penetrating through a maze of barbed-wire entanglements, steel doors, and machine-gun nests. Even the streets leading up to its outer barriers were roamed by gorilla-faced guards in black uniforms, armed with jointed truncheons..."
Is it wrong that I'm laughing at South Park while transcribing the groundbreaking, classic work of George Orwell? Oh, hooked on monkey phonics, how you make me laugh.
I'M BORED I WANT TO GO TO SLEEP BUT MY BRAIN WON'T LET ME!
Well, I'm gonna go....do something....maybe productive.... a shower? Ya, that's probably a good idea, then I won't have to get up as early tomorrow.....O.K......ya.....
