I'm a wimp and I'm sick of it.

I definetly just sobbed hysterically for 20 minutes because of a spider. I parked the van in the driveway, and opened the door, activating the inner lights. THEN I see a fucking yellow garden spider RUNNING across one of my bags and up onto the passenger seat. I screamed, and, never taking my eyes off of it, I took off my shoe and hit it. When I lifted up the shoe, it had gotten into a groove in the seat and I missed it completely. At this point I'm pretty sure I had a slight heart attack or stroke.
So, I watched its disgusting legs flail around for a second and started hitting it over and over and over again until it no longer resembled anything. That's when my emotions once again took over my survival skills, and I just started crying hysterically. I sat there, crying and staring at the remains of the spider for 10 minutes, when I finally grabbed the OTHER bag I had with me, and jumped out of the van. Yes, one bag of groceries is still in there and will stay there overnight until someone else inspects it.
As I made my way in the front door and up to my room, I was like a ninja or something, checking every corner and step with laser-vision watching out for any more spiders.

It's truly getting ridiculous. Make no mistake, if I had seen it while I was driving, there would have been an accident. Literally. My fear could potentially kill me or others. I think I'm going to look into hypnosis. Has anyone tried it? It can't make me worse....I hope anyways...
I'm NOT trying one of those bullshit therapies where they move a spider closer to you every week and eventually you hold it. That will never happen/work, believe me.
The worst kind? Daddy Long-Legs. I know they're the most harmless, but they terrify me to my core. Their legs... *gags* and they always move like they're stuck in something *gags more*.

Anyways, I've vented enough now. I would put a picture on here to make it look a little more interesting than it is ;) but I can't bring myself to image search daddy long legs, let alone see it on my livejournal for the rest of time. How bout a picture of a cute cat in an elk costume?:
