I worked 12 hours. "Oh I just did 14 hours"
Alexandria VA has an old section and one block with a cobblestone street. I found that fascinating since I never have seen one before.
I have been in DC for a week and a week to go. There is a perverse pleasure of working these insane hours. There is a contest I don’t want to win. I can work 10 hours easily, but 14 hours gets ridiculous.
They sure run a lot of senior citizen based commercial here in DC.

So as the new robin got pushed up and out, I am getting the same. This is the walk & talk test these two weeks. Next is the team project analysis projects in the summer where I have to show I can write 80 pages and work well with others. Then they pick a job to promote me into. I prefer Philly over Dallas and DC, but I have to accept the fates of the gods as it were.

- Quitting smoking is not going well.
- Got the weirdest tree shaped, 3-inch long bruise on my shoulder. Have no idea how I got it. Disturbing.
- people who send an email and then less than an hour later come by your office and say, "did you see my email..." really annoy me too.
- I know I will be working again next school year, because there is a union
- Why do people find it totally acceptable to agree to go to a party, hang out, and yet - not let the hostess know they've changed their mind?
