My shoulders feel so stiff and achy

So, I haven't been able to NaNo the last couple of days due to forgetting to email myself my stopping point so I'd know where to pick up. I can't write scenes out-of-order, unfortunately, or I'd have skipped ahead and written something else, then gone back to my stopping point when I could. My imagination is very serial, so it's been no-go. Not that that's a problem, because I've had some homework to do for Monday anyway, which I managed to get done just now. I think I'm finally (with one month left to go ^^;) gotten the hang of Linguistics and those problem sets Dr. W. gives us to do. I'm fairly confident in this set, but we'll have to see. Between that and all the calls we've been getting because of the Christmas shopping season, I've had my hands full anyway.

Today's the first Sunday in a long time where I've opened rather than closed. So I'll be going home, taking a very quick nap to recharge, and then I'm gonna try marathoning for NaNo. I'm still gonna be behind, but my goal for the day is going to be 4000 words. I've determined that I most likely will not win NaNo this year, but you know what? Even if I only get 30K instead of 50K, that's still pretty damn good. And there's nothing keeping me from finishing it after November's over. Especially since I'll have it saved in more than one place, so a faulty hard drive won't steal it from me like what happened with my other one. >.<

Randomly, this makes me very happy.
