Over in
cathealth we get some "argh" questions now and again from new cat owners.
http://community.livejournal.com/cathealth/2019032.html This person isn't really a new cat owner. But it makes me rage - not so much at her, but at the entire situation. (And a little bit at her for her attitude, but I am attempting to be understanding.......*twitchy*)
"help
I can't afford a vet. And I've called all of the vets in my area to see if they have payment plans and I have been turned down for CareCredit.
My asshole ex boyfriend threw my kitten (approx 10 weeks old) into the bathroom and she was there all day and when I got home she was cowering in the shower with some blood next to her.
Upon examining her, she has a cut on her tail. I can see the flesh and the bone in there. I think the cut is just her fur and skin. Can anyone guess how serious this could be or has had a similar injury with their kitten? If it's serious, I will have to bring her to the humane society and tell them I just found her in the street somewhere so she gets taken care of."
