A judge in the US has denied two trans people the right to change their name to fit with their transitions, ruling that they were appealing to change for fraudulent purposes.

Oklahoma District Judge, Bill Graves, has denied the name change in two cases - one in August, and one last year, NewsOK reported.

"In an interview, Judge Graves said “If you’re born male, you stay male, according to the study I’ve done on DNA. If you’re born female, you stay female.”

Mr. Graves,

And yes I must use that term because you have exhibited behavior that in no way is becoming a judge, but rather the judgemental. You say you've conducted a study, but if you have, then under the Freedom of Information Act we must ask that you supply your certificate, doctorate, or other solid proof that you indeed possess a degree in biology or other appropriately related field. If you do not have such, you have no position to speak on such matters.

“To grant a name change in this case would be to assist that which is fraudulent,”

“It is notable that Genesis 1:27-28 states: ‘So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them… The DNA code shows God meant for them to stay male and female.”

Also, if surgery does not a man or woman make, then such does a black robe does not a judge make. Therefore by your own actions, you have proven your own appointment to the bench to be fraudulent.

You have shown yourself to be incapable of keeping the separation of church and state and as such, should recuse yourself from any further rulings, surrender your robes, and step down from the bench, perhaps even surrender your law license.

You are not an impartial entity but a hateful bigot masquerading in the halls of justice and it's time that came to light so that proper actions can be taken and you can be removed from further practice of law. A recall request should be on it's way to the state Supreme Court as we speak so such proceedings can get underway.

Sincerely,
The Sane People
