Teen girl arrested for outing attackers

A teen girl in Kentucky faces contempt of court charges for posting the names of her rapists because she rightfully doesn't give a shit if they're exposed (in fact, they ought to be). She may be going to JAIL for exposing her rapists because for some reason, protecting the rapists is more important than protecting her rights and providing justice for victims.

The girl felt that the boys were getting a "slap on the wrist plea bargain" when they were charged with first-degree sexual assault and misdemeanor voyeuroism (I can't spell that word) and therefore decided to expose them by tweeting their names on Twitter. She says "They said I can't talk about this or they'll lock me up, so I'm waiting for them to read this and lock me up."

This is a very brave girl and I am starting to see way too many patterns in the justice system where sex abuse victims aren't given adequate justice and it's making me sick. I hate thinking that this girl's going to rot in jail for taking action against her abusers when no one else would now.

sad and awful, what the fuck, sexual assault, holy shit, i hate people, aaaaaaaargh
