I remember reading this on FeministBlogs.com; so much rage. Obviously, you're only worth mentioning if your contributions benefit rich white men. Oh, to live in such a nice little cocoon of privilege. :/

Also, my dad is always frothing about how "American is a republic, not a democracy!!!!!1" as if the two are mutually exclusive. I guess he thinks that if the U.S. is a republic, then clearly Republicans are the be-all, end-all of political parties.

He also goes on to say that Anne Hutchinson did nothing but cause trouble. Apparently advocating for equality and religious freedom is just causing trouble.
