A little old and an update of an Etiquette Hell ("etiquette"-oriented advice column blog) rage posted previously on sf_drama, where the consensus was "this-is-ragey-don't-post-this-shit-in-sf_drama". Reposted here because, dammit, her "re-do."
Warning for rape triggers.
The original post by EHell Dame addressed a situation where the OP's rape had been revealed in a bar during a drinking game. EHell Dame's response was, basically, that the OP should have known better than to participate in the drinking game. (Link goes to a cap because original post was deleted.) At first some comments get through that pound on EHell Dame and give the OP support. Huzzah!
But this is Etiquette Hell, so we can't have that. Comments pointing out the problem with that opinion mysteriously stop going through the moderation queue by the afternoon. The post is deleted.
The update is that a 're-do' was put up yesterday. It appears that the only comments being allowed through the moderation queue are ones agreeing with EHell Dame and of course now it's all just people politely telling OP how she shouldn't have been in the drinking game in the first place.
