I love it when fandoms collide. It was adorable when Hyde, of all people, talked about how he used to want to be like Joe Fuckin' Perry. And Dongwan's mention of Gackt on his personal blog, that was so much love and had me happy for the entire day.

But it's a disaster waiting to happen, usually, when your fandom collides with your life in reality. And by usually, the only time it didn't was with Ryouko, and that was only because she's a fellow fangirl who was in my class. To be honest, my fandoms aren't the very... audience-friendly type.

My first love - Gackt, my parents are still calling him a transsexual after a near decade of fangirling him. I recognise a lost cause when I see one. But thankfully, Ryouko is actually warming up to him. How can anyone not??? He's the most amazing person ever. Hyde may be much prettier, but Gackt has the best overall package, if you ignore how he'll probably drive a person crazy with his anal-retentive ways.

And I like JE, some groups anyway, and they're so gay that they'll probably shock most parents. Especially Ohmiya and their gayness; they're so OTP that they out-gay even the perverted ideas derived by enthusiastic fangirls. I doubt any non-fan will take well to the blatant declarations of love, must-have groping (THEY REALLY DID. I SWEAR.) and full-on confessions of dating each other. But that's JE for you. Kanjani8 is louder than most groups, but definitely following in those footsteps.

Then there's Fly to the Sky and Shinhwa. Well, they're the Korean version of the kind of boybands that I like. Fly to the Sky is a duo who are so utterly gay for each other that ten years together, people are still teasing them about having the hots for each other, not that you can really blame them since there's only two of them in the group. But Shinhwa. OMG. They're the mother of fanservice in Korea. There's six of them, and there's fifteen ways you can pair them up, without counting the threesomes and orgies. They cuddle, kiss, hang all over each other, and nobody thinks that there's something wrong with that...

But of course, I suppose the most scandalous one will be ironically the one that should be the most acceptable for more people - Aerosmith. Oh yes, old granddaddies playing at being rockstars. Despite loving them, I know why it's so strange to fangirl them. They're so... OLD. Older than my parents actually, but thankfully still younger than my grandparents, but only if you don't count my step-grandmother. But they are so amazing. Especially Joe Perry, since he's my favourite. My attention tends to be on the Toxic Twins. They're the charismatic ones, not to mention the gay ones.

And I think I almost forgot to mention Brian Kinney. I think that's the most scandalous of all fandoms. I didn't want to put him up with the rest because he's not real. He's a fictional character, but still scandalous. Brian Kinney is a character created by Cowlip for the US version of Queer as Folk. And if you have not guessed by the name, yes, it's a gay show. FULL OF GAY GAY GAY PEOPLE AND FULL ON NUDITY. But sex aside, I fangirl Brian Kinney because he's OMG so dreamy. He's an asshole, but he knows what he wants, and he gets what he wants. He's a work of art. And so much more interesting than the actor that played him. And I am still trying to convince myself that I don't like him just because he reminds me of Gackt, so don't start.

Have you all noticed the trend? I like gay idols.

But anyway, to clarify, I doubt any of my idols are gay. The chances are practically negative. I just like how they act gay with each other, because it's cute and entertaining. Well, except for Brian Kinney, because he IS gay. But he isn't real... So I suppose he doesn't count.

And let's get back on track, my point is...

To the next person, especially one who does not fangirl/fanboy, it's kinda gross isn't it?

I am almost certain, like 99.9%, that most people I know in real-life will not appreciate the beauty of my fandoms or understand my obsession. So I'm taking a huge risk combining my fandoms and real life here.

Hence, I'm telling you first. If you don't like it, stay out of it. I'm not going to force you to read about how OMGOHNOTOLDNINOTHATHEWANTSTOEATHIM (Which actually happened before), and you are not to tell me about how disgusting my fandoms are. I am happy with them just the way they are, disgusting or otherwise.

Oh, and by the way, I'm not posting much stuff about fandom here, so do not try to friend me if you don't know me in real life. Keep to the community. You'll find what you want there, not here.
