one of my heroes died....

 The picture below is my hero, my mentor, Bradley Herrin. Brad passed away of a heart attack at 46 years old. He 
was a brilliant attorney and one of the funniest and most caring men who ever lived. You were lucky indeed if you knew him.

I adored that man.

Here are two of my favorite Brad quotes:

"Ya know, there was a woman on the Maury Povich show; her bottom half was gone. The half a woman wanted to get married. So they made her a wedding gown from a silk blouse and she got married right there on the Maury Povich show. So if the half a woman can get married, then there is hope for everyone out there..."

"It pisses me off that they are making us go to these stupid motivational speech seminars. It's a waste of time. Those affirmations are fucking stupid. I can stand in a mirror and repeat 'I have hair, I have hair' over and over again, but I'm never going to have any fucking hair!"
