My dad can't drink fruit juices much now, if at all, since he's been diabetic, but he told me that the sugars in fruit will not stay with you like they do in other things, like candies and such.

Another thing...diet soda is not good. Aspartame has some seriously bad effects, including hair loss, headaches, and many other things.
