Completely separate storm, evacuated up to my parents because this one actually *did* pass right over our town. It even followed us up to Arkansas! Homecoming hasn't all been roses, and I don't think it would have been even if my hubby sent me and the kittens up here by ourselves. Our niece is adorable still, and our nephews are growing up so fast.
Got a bit more written on that story idea before we had to come see my folks, but it's on hiatus I guess till we get back home. My hubby and I have to switch laptop batteries because my power charger that was flaking out killed my battery. As if I needed something else aside from my power cable and washing his phone to make my want to live back in the 1800s even more appealing.
Good news, I finally got an adult dragon.
Isn't she cute?!
I guess that's it. We should be heading home around Monday or so to see if we still have a house. They keep calling all the people south of us to go back to see if they still have homes (all of which are in our prayers, and we know that God has something better for them) so the traffic is pretty bad at the moment.
Thank you all for your prayers for us. You all are precious.
