I can't believe that she's 6 months old now! Sometimes it feels like we just got home from the hospital yesterday, but most of the time it feels like she's been with us our whole lives. It's hard to remember what life use to be like before she was born. I know there was a time that she wasn't here, that she wasn't in the outside world with us, but it's like a dream.
She's almost the size of a year old! 18 pounds, 26 1/2 inches long. I look at the outfits she use to wear, the pictures that we took when she was newborn, and I have a hard time believing that she was ever that small. Again, I know she use to be.
Use to be, she'd only cry when she wanted something and was quiet when she was happy. Now she's learning that different sounds mean different things, only crying when she's upset. I love hearing her happy noises and her laughs. She'll jabber up a storm in the mornings with the baby in the mirror. She's not crawling yet, but she scoots and rolls. Rolling is her favorite at the moment. She's also enjoying her reading.
