Man marries his video game character 'girlfriend' So... to anyone opposed to gay marriage who protests by saying that it insults or damages or whatever the institution of marriage, I have a question (seriously, now):
Why are you more upset about how a union between two actual human beings that love each other doesn't fit with your idea of what marriage is than you are about things like this happening in the world? Surely 'man/woman and completely fictional character displayed on an electronic device' isn't part of any culture on Earth's definition of what a marriage is, and I know I'd certainly think that a guy marrying some inanimate pixels on his Gameboy makes more of a mockery of marriage than a person wanting to marry another real person who just happens to have the same bits and pieces as they do down there ever could, so what about you?
