Thank god the DW/TW books aren't manga, or I'd have read them all in one afternoon...

I'm going to assume that the larger-than-usual budget that most of these would probably need is the only reason they were never made into actual episodes, because they're all awesome enough to be put on film.  That being said, if we ever do get my wish of a Doctor Who anime, I think the production staff ought to know where their first scripts are by now. ^_<  (that's supposed to be a winking smiley if you can't tell/I just failed at typing a proper one)

They can have Sunrise/Bones/Madhouse/whoever did Haruhi Suzumiya animate it.  Well, pretty much anyone other than Studio Ghibli, as we want them to focus on Miyazaki movies, or Pierrot, because, well, they suck.  They only do a good job (and only good, not great) animating their movies, and even then they'll mess up basic character design details.  On the main character.  Of a show that they'd already done a good 150+ episodes of.  Yeah.

Moving on... Yuki Kajiura can do the music (if Murray Gold's not doing the music for the live-action version anymore, I doubt he'd do the anime, so I say give it to her.  Yoko Kanno could do anime!Torchwood btw), and for possibly the first time ever, we've got the English-dub cast sorted already (there will be beatings if you can't figure out who I mean here), so assuming there would even be a Japanese dub, we'd just need to figure that out. Now, I'm nowhere near as familiar with Japanese voice actors as I am with American ones (thank you again for doing good dubs, Funimation), I think I can cast some of the characters:

-The Doctor = Kappei Yamaguchi (he's L, do you need any further explanation?), or whover it was that played Kyon (you just know he & Haruhi are fobwatched Time Lords anyway)
-The Master = Mamoru Miyano (combine what he did with Light and what he did with Tamaki and just try telling me you don't see it)
-Captain Jack = Shinichiro Miki (the guy has played Kisuke Urahara, Roy Mustang, and Allen from Escaflowne; he can totally pull off Jack Harkness)
-Rose/Martha/Donna/any other companion that happens to pop up = (in no particular order cos I'm just throwing out names on this one) Maaya Sakamoto, Romi Paku, Aya Hirano, Megumi Hayashibara, Rie Kugimiya, etc.

...and now my theoretical-geeking-out is done because I'm too hungry to think of more.  Also, even though it's not like getting me to do it was ever a problem before, I'm pretty sure this confirms that I will read for hours on end if David Tennant is on the cover of a book, and I know I'm not the only one.  Textbook publishers should take note!

my real life omfg, torchwood, i have too much time on my hands, books, fangirling, doctor who, anime, music
