Air filters what?
Yeah so silly me, I guess that I haven't noticed that the air filter in my apartment needed changing. Yesterday I get home from work and my house is just stuffy and hot and ugh! Check the AC - yep it is on and yep air is coming out. Check the temp of the air - odd it is at like 80 degrees. WTF? So I ask Michelle (my little butch bitch) and she checks the air filter and states that, yes indeed, it is filthy. So she removes it. And lo and behold - everything is frozen. Ice everywhere. Lovely. Have to turn off the AC completely to let it thaw.
Uh huh - so last night Laura was not a happy camper. No AC. Smoke outside. Windows open and fans going to circulate. But DAMN - it was hot and stuffy in my apartment all night. I don't get a good cross breeze anywhere in my apartment. Needless to say I didn't sleep very well.
But in good news - Michelle tracked down the maintenance guy and had him replace the air filter. We are back in business. Laura cannot WAIT to sleep tonight in a nicely cooled apartment!
