Been a long time
It sure has been a long time since I posted on LiveJournal. Yes, I am more likely to post on Facebook or Twitter these days, but I do still read posts here, so I guess I could be accused of lurking. Of course, a lot has happened in my life and not much has made it to here.
For those who somehow missed it, chaosloom and I got married last May. Like many these days we have been dealing with work, or lack there of and other challenges related to the economic downturn. While he is working full time, his job is not enough to support the both of us in the SF bay area. I, on the other hand, am only working part time, and even though it is at a company I enjoy working for, we worry about not having enough work to keep things afloat.
Meanwhile, I finally joined the breeders and we are expecting a baby girl in early August. Below is a photo taken last week that shows how big I am getting. Yes, this is going to making things even tighter, especially in our tiny apartment, but fortunately, we have had many generous friends pass along gently used baby items, so we actually are accruing quit a collection so far. Oh, and she sure likes to kick a lot! I am excited to meet this little person who will soon take over my world.
