I saw Memoirs of a Geisha today. I really enjoyed the juxtaposition of geisha in formal kimonos and face paint, and men, their patrons, in Western suits and hats. I didn't like it when the Americans were occupying the town, however, or how Pumpkin turned out. I did like the Chairman though (Ras Al-Ghul!).
Officially, my ARTH390B, Iconography of Annunciation Images through the 12th century paper is done! Now the rest of the semester is basically a cakewalk. The only hard thing left is making a camera obscura. Ha...ha...
