UNOFFICIAL ist heute!!!
Although Jenny can't drink, we're going to have a rockin' time anyway doin' homework and watching Sean of the Dead and Mean Girls. Both excellent movies, in my opinion.
This was a busy week. SciFi project and art project and Japanese art history quiz. Last night was my first real free night. So I celebrated by watching Star Trek. Oh how I love it. I really do owe my Uncle a thank you for being a nerd when he was my age, and getting me into it as a child, and for Captain Picard for being a pompous ass, but a damned sexy one.
I'm reading Watchmen and it's really good. There's a lot to it, and I feel I may need to read it a few times to pick up everything. However...it's so looooooong, and I have so much to read. I read some interesting Elseworlds Batman comics lately as well. Batman vs. Dracula was pretty neat. Nine Lives was also interesting. I like that Grayson was the "boy wonder" detective. He was actually a pretty cool character. I didn't like how they did Bruce. Or Gordon (sad face! I love Gordon!). The Joker was pretty cool though. As always. I would say you can't get him wrong, but that's a lie.
The newest additions to my desk are: Prongs, a stag, one of those models you build by fitting together pieces of wood. We had some trouble with his legs. I superglued my fingers pretty badly trying to get them on. Also I have a Beta fish now! A yellow-ish green one named Marvolo. Full name Tom Marvolo Riddle. Lovely boy. He's pretty entertaining. And bulimic. He's also got blood-red stones at the bottom of his tank. How fitting. Jenny's is Dumbles. He's this neat shimmering light blue color, with his fins fading to purple. Really pretty. Names after our favorite lemon-drop loving Headmaster, of course.
The Naruto chapters have been disappointing lately. Too many cliffhangers. And they don't come out fast enough. I think I've lost hope that Kakashi is still alive. Though, I probably shouldn't have harbored that hope in the first place. They did kill Jiraiya, after all. And send Sasgay to Orochimaru to become even more of a jerkface. And of course told you Itachi is really a pretty savvy guy after he was killed. Aw damn.
