- lauren's dad has passed away. there is such mix of sorrow and joy in my heart. joy that he isn't suffering anymore, that he is with the good Lord. sorrow for the loss and hurt that the family is going through now, and has been trying to brace themselves against for months, especially those who don't understand the hope of seeing him again in eternity.
- jamie and i have been realizing what a blessing it is to not have very much money. it's so obvious to us that God is the one who provides for us each step of the way, with each bill and need.
- i got a job. 10-15 min from home, pay is sufficient, and the hours are great. i'm working at meals in the making in patton creek. (see www.mealsinthemaking.com, which is a site that my friend jonathan marbutt made -- small world.) and since i work there, jamie and i get sweet discounts on their food, which is really yummy.
- lately i cannot be pryed away from the computer b/c of cary's awesome pictures from the wedding. see his pictures of us at our myspace page (below), and his stuff in general at www.theordinary.org.
- we have a couple of new and rough tracks on www.myspace.com/handwrittenletters.
