This frosting is for red velvet cake. it is sooooo EASY...& SOO GOOD!!
Cream Cheese Frosting:
1 pound cream cheese, softened
4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
2 sticks unsalted butter (1 cup), softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
if you feel the cream cheese is still a little over powering ad a little more vanilla. BUT a VERY TINY bit at a time. especially if you use Vanilla extract not imitation vanilla. (the real thing is the BEST to use for any & all baking)
