Why isn't Cillian Murphy in all the films again?

(And no, "he's creepy" isn't an acceptable answer in my house)

I'm rewatching Inception because I was in the mood to hear some Brrm-brrm and see cool action sequences, lots of pretty people and Cillian Murphy's face. I know that almost everyone was all: "Joseph Gordon-Levitt! Tom Hardy!" about that film, and they both do look fine, don't get me wrong, but my reaction was mostly: "OMG, Cillian Murphy being beautiful and not-creepy for once, which doesn't happen as often as I'd like!" (I like him creepy, too -- hello, Dr Jonathan Crane --, but it's nice to see him in other roles too). I remember that the first time I saw the film, I half-expected him to turn on them and do something reaaally twisted, but no, he was the mark. Uh.

He was the only character who touched me emotionally in Inception. Which, granted, isn't that difficult, because there was a grand total of two characters with a story and an emotional journey in that one, and I wasn't particularly interested in Di Caprio's issues.

Also, every time Leonardo Di Caprio stands next to Cillian Murphy's unreal cheekbones, I can't stop noticing how enormous his head looks. That thing is huge! And I'll always love the Paris dream sequence.

I'm almost tempted to go see In Time for Murphy, but I'm not willing to pay to see Justin Timberlake as a dramatic character and action hero (I like him on SNL and that's it). I know that I'd want Cillian Murphy's cop to win or to be the one who suddenly decided to overthrow the system, and it's always frustrating to watch a film and to try to switch the cast around in your head to get more of the actor you're really interested in; and I know I'd be doing that all the time in that film, particularly since Matt Bomer is also in it. Feh. HOWEVER, Cillian Murphy seems to be wearing a leather trenchcoat in it, which makes me ponder watching it. Sometimes, I'm so shallow I give myself the side-eye. (Not for long).
