So, Fringe. My main reaction at the end was: ( aww, already? We were having so much fun! )

It was the same for me. I got my brother into Fringe because I wanted to be able to talk about it, and only a couple of people on my f-list posted about the show. But it wasn't the same, so I friended some other people to be able to discuss it, but I'm not really familiar with them yet. But it's certainly not as lively as BtVS fandom, or even BSG fandom.

Part of it, I think, is that Livejournal has really slowed down; A lot of people on my f-list have more or less migrated to Twitter and/or Tumblr and only post from time to time (not that I'm anyone to criticise people for not posting often, obviously.) I don't mind Twitter and Tumblr, but they don't lend themselves to the kind of fannish discussions I love.

And I don't go at TwOP because it's Pacey-central there and they haven't stopped complaining about Peter's absence this season (If you really missed him, you might enjoy the discussions, though. I don't know how you feel about him). I like Joshua Jackson fine, but since I never watched Dawson's Creek, I don't have a particular reason to be a huge fan either, and a lot of people seem to want him to be the main character. He's an important part of the show, but I'm mostly into it for Olivia and Walter and so far, when they've made Peter the big hero, it had the unfortunate side-effect of sidelining Olivia, like in the season 3 finale. I prefer to see them work as a team.

Anyway, I'll try to post about it more often (and to find more Fringe-loving people on LJ), because I get frustrated when I can't discuss it. Like you, it's the only show that makes me feel almost as fannish as I used to be. There are several shows I love and follow (Justified among them), but I don't particularly need to talk about them beyond "It was great."
