In my opinion, both “Happy Endings” and “A Primer for the Punctuation of Heart” was annoying and weird. I typically do not see weird punctuation on a short story by Jonathan Foer. I kind of relate to relate to the “Happy Endings” because it funny in some parts and to me all relationships have a bad part or ending. It was fun to read because it is actually true in some cases. “A Primer for the Punctuation of Heart Disease,” connects me in certain ways. First off it shows how punctuation can show an emotion or strong feelings about something. For instance like “WHAT” can be taking as if you are angry or shocked or even angry at someone. I sometimes do it because it let my friends know my initial reaction and how I am really feeling toward something. I don’t know if this relates to Jonathan Foer’s short story but I never really had a relationship to my brother Ryan. I would always try to email him and would definitely use punctuations or all CAPS to express my feelings about something. I believe that you can communicate any way you like but do not express harsh or threatening feeling via chat or email because that destroys your relationship with someone or shows your personality/character differently. I personally am afraid to tell another person how I feel because I am worried what their reaction will be. But it mostly depends on how you communicate. If you communicate in way that you’re angry then good luck in getting anything resolved.
